Improper planning delays the rainwater drainage project in Maduravayil!

There has been a setback in the progress of the rainwater drain system project in Maduravayil due to improper planning.
Maduravayil comes under Ward 146 covering the low-lying residential areas covering Metro Nagar, Bharahty Nagar, and Dhanalakshmi Nagar in the Valasarawakkam Region.
The residents face extreme hardship during rainy season from the stagnant rainwater around the area.
There are incidents in the past when the rainwater flowing from Poonamallee, Kattuppakkam, and Porur reach Maduravayil and damage the low-lying area.
