R Kamaraj will also be in charge of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments

The Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments department, which was hitherto held by P Chendur Pandian, was today shifted to Food Minister R Kamaraj.
Governor K Rosaiah accepted the recommendation of Chief Minister O Panneerselvam �that the portfolio of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, hitherto held by P Chendur Pandian, who has been hospitalized, be allotted to R Kamaraj, Minister of Food, with immediate effect�.
Kamaraj will be designated as Minister for Food, Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments.
The Governor has also accepted the Chief Minister�s recommendation for the continuance of Chendur Pandian as a Minister.
It is to be noted that Chendur Pandian was admitted to hospital recently following health ailments
