Four airports including Chennai to be privatized

Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju has mentioned that the Government is planning to privatize four airports including Chennai.
Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju held discussions with Gujarat Civil Aviation Minister Saurabh Patel with the problems relating to the aviation department.
After the meeting, Patel said that the Centre has accepted Gujarat`s proposal to start direct flight between Rajkot and Delhi.
After this while speaking to the media, Civil Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju said, �With the intention of developing the aviation department, the Government is thinking of privatizing the airports of Ahmadabad, Chennai, Kolkata and Jaipur. We are very firm to give the worlds best to the passengers.�
Direct flights between Rajkot and Delhi will commence from February 15.
