Bill soon to be proposed to change the name of Madras High Court!

The central ministry of Law has initiated the activities to present the bill for changing the name of ‘Madras High Court’.
The High Courts in Chennai & Mumbai are presently named as Madras high Court & Bombay High Court.
A demand has been made over a long period to change these names as per the new names of the cities.
The ministry of Law has now initiated activities to carry out these changes.
The bill is expected to be presented to the parliament shortly.
