Car Accident Test regulations to be implemented for the first-ever time in India from 2017!

From the year 2017, automobile manufacturers must furnish the features of safety on their car design. Only after furnishing this information, they will be allowed to sell the cars.
The central government has set about forming the rules and regulations for this.
USA and many European countries have implemented strict rules and regulations on the safety factors of the car to proved maximum safety for the passengers/drivers in case of any accident.
The Director of the Indian Automotive Research Federation, Rashmi Urdhwareshe, informed that similar rules & regulations are to be implemented in India as well.
Mr. David Ward, the secretary of new car rating association in USA, has stated that many cars being sold in India are not manufactured according the standards set by UN.
He also pointed out the one of the leading automobile manufacturers, Nissan, did not implement the safety features recommended by UN in their new cars introduced in 2014.
