Income Tax Department’s new scheme to address Tax Payers’ grievances!

As per the good governance scheme announced by the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi, The Department for Direct Taxation has instructed the Department of Income Tax to conduct special meetings every Wednesday.
Special meeting should be conducted every Wednesday to receive the grievances of tax payers and take necessary action.
The time between 10.00 AM till 1.00 PM every Wednesday should be allotted for this.
On the specified grievance day, the senior officials of the IT department shall devote their time exclusively to receive the grievance of the tax paying public and address the issue for corrective action. They should not divert for other tasks.
