Duration of B Ed & M Ed courses extended!

The duration of the courses for B Ed & M Ed has been extended from the current 1-year period to 2-years.
The central department of school education has announced that it is planning to introduce from this year an integrated for 4 years to complete B Ed after passing the +2 examinations.
The secretary of the central governments school education department, Vrinda Saraf, informed during the conference of state education ministers that all the B Ed students must take classes for the students at least for 20 weeks.
The minister also informed that the (postal) correspondence course for B Ed will no longer be available.
