New passports which cannot be duplicated from next year!

It is expected that new passports, which cannot be duplicated, will be issued from the next year.
There are some deficiencies on the security aspect in the existing passports. Hence it is easier for the anti-social elements to print duplicates which are used for going abroad.
In order to prevent this, the central government has decided to print e-passports using the latest electronic technology.
The project has already commenced and the progress is in full swing.
The Chief Passport Officer of the external Affairs Department, Mr. Mukthesh, informed that a target to make e-passport has been set by next year.
E-passport will have a microchip which will contain all the important personal data. This feature will totally prevent the duplication of passports.
