E-toll being introduced in National Highways!

A lot of time and fuel are wasted when all the vehicles plying on the National Highways throughout India need to stop, pay the toll amount, and wait for collecting the receipt.
It is estimated that this loss may amount to Rs. 60,000/- Crores!
Central Minister for Highways, Mr. Nitin Gadkari, informed during a function yesterday in Mumbai that the introduction of electronic toll-gate payment system can save up to Rs. 88,000 Crores per year.
There are around 350 toll gates in the Highway from Mumbai to Delhi.
The Minister also informed that the newly constructed Highways would be of concrete.
