Chances of showers in Chennai and Tamil Nadu

According to the meteorological department Chennai is likely to remain cloudy for the next couple of days with chances of showers at a few places across the city,
There is a possibility of moderate rains over Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. Rainfall has been forecast for all districts in the state except Erode, Namakkal, Nilgiris, Tiruppur and the southern district of Virudhunagar.
Among the districts, Coimbatore, Cuddalore, Tiruppur, Tiruvallur, Nagapattinam, Kancheepuram and Kanyakumari are likely to witness excessive rainfall, this week. The low pressure formation over the state noticed earlier this week has moved away towards west central bay and adjoining north Andhra and south Odisha.
