Diesel consumption up by 5% in November!

With the recent trend of falling price of crude oil in the international market leading to reduction in the prices of petrol & diesel, the latest statistics reveal that there has been an increase of 5% in the sales of petroleum products including diesel.
The Ministry of Petroleum products informs that the consumption of petroleum products was 1.33 Crore tons.
Out of this, the consumption of diesel alone has increased by 3%.
It is understood that the increased consumption of petroleum products is mainly due to the fall in the crude oil prices by 46%
