Echo on the Successive Holidays during year-end: Swarming tourists in Mahabalipuram!

With the successive holidays on the year-end, there have been thronging crowds every day in Mahabalipuram.
Mahabalipuram known for its sea-shore temples and the sculpture of extraordinary brilliance, is one of the most popular tourist spots in Chennai, South India. Plenty of national & foreign tourists visit every year.
Holidays have been declared for the school/college students after the half-yearly examination from 24th December. In addition, a lot of tourists have come with their families on the occasion of Christmas.
Yesterday (28th December) being a Sunday, the place was overflowing with parked 2-wheelers & 4-wheelers everywhere.
Tourist crowd was thronging at the most popular spots such as sea-shore temple, 5-chariots, Arjuna�s penance, Lighthouse, and butter sphere rock.
Traffic was quite heavy causing severe congestion for movement of vehicles and the traffic police has a tough time to regulate the traffic!
