Public was left irksome following bus strike in TN

People rely on public transport facilities for their travel within the city. This being a regular practice bus strike across Tamil Nadu has left the public irksome without proper bus facility.
Tamil Nadu state transport corporation is divided into eight including Chennai MTC, Coimbatore, Kumbakonam, Madurai, Selam, Tirunelveli, Viluppuram and S.E.T.C. This has over 280 employees working under it and about 22500 buses are functioning. Out of this entire count, over 3506 buses function only in Chennai. The overall income generated out of these buses is Rupees twenty five crore. This department is said to have been incurring loss for over a long time.
Following this, placing a plea to offer pension for retired employees in the department, there was a bus strike yesterday and this put all the people across the state in trouble.
