Margazhi Festival at Sri Krishna Temple, Alwarpet

The Sri Krishna Koorathazhwan Devasthanam at Alwarpet will be celebrating its Marghazhi festival till Jan 15. Thiruppavai upanyasam will be given by priest Natarajan at 5 a.m. everyday. On Hanuman Jayanthi which falls on Dec 21, Lord Anjaneya will adorn a special vadamalai. On new year’s eve, Lord Srinivasa will be taken on a procession around Alwarpet and the surrounding areas.
