BSNL: free SIM cards for account holders under Prime Minister’s Jandhan Yojana Scheme!

BSNL has announced free SIM cards for all account holders who have opened savings accounts as under:
· Direct Payment Scheme for subsidy of LPG cooking Gas
· Jandhan Yojana
Jandhan Yojana scheme has been started with the aim of every citizen in the country having a savings account.
The public can open savings account in a simple procedure.
To get the free SIM card, approach the nearest BSNL customer service centre with a passport size photo and a copy of the first page of the passbook for the savings account.
BSNL officials added that it would be easier with the BSNL SIM & mobile to obtain information on the direct subsidy payment.
