TAMILNADU GOVERNMENT INTIATES SCHOOLS IMPROVEMENT THROUGH CONFERENCE

The School Education Department, Government of Tamilnadu announced that they would hold School Improvement Conference in five districts across the State. The School Education Minister, Secretary of the Department and senior officials will participate in the conference in Virudhunagar, Nagapattinam, Pudukkottai, Theni and Thiruvannamalai.
The primary aim is to explore possible Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) in these districts so that the infrastructure and quality of government and aided schools there can be enhanced, the official said.
Interested donors, who would like to contribute to schools, will also be present. Depending on the need of schools and willingness of donors, PPPs can be formed there. Contributions could either be in the form of cash, immovable and movable assets such as land, buildings or computers.
