Minister of State for petroleum and natural gas eyes on streamlining safety measures

Minister of State for petroleum and natural gas, Dharmendra Pradan suggests having a separate set up for safety in oil and fuel. He adds that authorities for these departments are split in varied places.
He pointed that the safety rules and regulations of oil production is currently under the director of mining department, and the same for refining department is with someone else. He pointed that such a vague distribution of authority in safety of fuels doesn’t seem proper and intends to streamline all of it.
