Exclusive safety measures at Thiruvannamalai

Owing to the fast nearing Thiruvannamalai Karthigai Dheepa Thiruvizha, strong safety measures are taken. Over 20 lakh people are expected to throng in to Thiruvannamalai to view the Maha Dheepam. As a measure to ensure 100% safety, 14 exclusive teams of police officials are set up which are headed by director of police. Nearly 60 cameras, 2 unmanned flights, etc are being used to provide the necessary safety.
