Aavin Card for 12000 individuals!

Aavin has distributed cards for 12000 individuals who had applied for it.
11.50 Lakh Litres of Aavin milk is sold in Chennai every day.
Out of this, 7 Lakh litres of Aavin milk are sold through monthly cards.
Until March, Aavin was procuring 24 Lakh litres every day. From March, this reduced to 21 Lakh litres. This reduction forced Aavin to stop issuing new cards.
12000 applications for monthly Aavin cards have been waiting for 6 months. Since the rains of the North-east monsoon started early in October and the purchase price was raised by Rs. 5/- per litre, the total procurement increased by 1 Lakh litre per day. Gradually, it has increased to 1.5 Lakh litres as on date.
As a result, Aavin management has decided to issue monthly cards for the waiting 12000 applications.
4000 cards will be issued on 1st December. Another 8,000 cards are to be distributed from 16th December.
Aavin has planned to sell 12 lakh litres of milk in Chennai every day.
