Postal Department info: On-line shopping for Rs. 280 Crores!

Postal department has informed that it has completed trade transactions worth Rs. 280 Crores from on-line trading.
Indian Post introduced ‘Cash-on-Delivery’ mode for ordering and buying items from December, 2013.
Many on-line retailers such as Flipkart, Amazon, etc utilise this service.
There are about 1,55,000 Government Post Offices throughout India.
India Post has expressed that it is extremely simple and easy to provide this service for on-line trading.
