Art festival at Kartik Fine Arts

Kartik Fine Arts is conducting its 40th art festival from Dec 1 � Jan 6. The event will be inaugurated on Dec 1 at Narada Gana Sabha at 6 p.m. The guest of honour is H. Raja, national secretary, BJP. L. Sabaretnam, chairman of Karthik Fine Arts presides.
A performance �Vana Viraata Vijayam� � by students of Bharathanjali with music and lyrics by Neyveli Santhanagopalan and P. R. Venkatasubramanian will follow the inauguration.
The following titles and awards will be presented: �Isai Peroli� to vocalist S. Saketharaman, �Nadanamamani� to dancer Anwesha Das, D. K. Pattamal award of excellence to vocalist Akshay Padmanabhan and �Kartik Rajagopal Golden Jubilee Committee Award� for best cultural organizer to Dr. R. Seetharaman. At T. T. K Road, Alwarpet.
