Department of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy counselling notification

The Single Window Counselling for the admission of the students for B.S.M.S/ B.A.M.S/ B.H.M.S/B.U.M.S/ B.N.Y.S Courses at Government and Self financing I.S.M. Colleges for the academic year 2014-15 was held between 17th and 20th of October 2014 at the Selection Committee office, Arignar Anna Government Hospital of Indian Medicine Campus, Arumbakkam, Chennai � 600106 and allotments were made.
2) As on date there are 13(Thirteen) vacancies in 5 Government I.S.M. Colleges and 132 ( One hundred and thirty two ) vacancies in 20 Self Financing Medical Colleges. Further, the Government have issued orders for increase of 10 seats in Government Yoga and Naturopathy Medical College, Chennai, 106 from the academic year 2014-2015. Hence counselling will be conducted for 155 seats in total.
3) For the above vacancies, movement counselling and as a sequence to this counselling a re-counselling will be held on the same day for the subsequent vacancies which may arise both in Government and Self financing Medical colleges on 21-11-2014 at 9.00 A.M.
4) For both the counselling the following candidates will not be eligible to participate:
(a) Those who were absent during the first counselling
(b) Those who signed the attendance register and not submitted the option form.
(c) Those who on their own choice through written declaration opted for Self Financing Medical Colleges, though vacancies existed in Government Medical colleges at the time of their turn.
(d) Those who received allotment order during the first counselling but didn�t join the college opted by them.
5) The candidates who are eligible to attend the movement and the subsequent
Re-counselling as the case may be, are as follows:
(a) Those who opted for Waiting list during the first counselling
(b) Those who received allotment order during their turn and joined the Medical College allotted to them.
6) Candidates who have participated in the first counselling and tendered a Demand draft for the value of Rs. 5500/- and received their allotment order and joined the allotted college, need not bring again a demand draft during this counseling. Further those who have opted for waiting list should bring a Demand Draft for the value of Rs. 5500/- from any nationalized bank drawn on or after 11.11.2014 in favour of �The Director of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy, Chennai � 106� payable at Chennai.
7) For the Kind attention of all candidates:
The movement and the subsequent re-counselling will begin at 9.00AM on
21.11.2014. All the candidates who wish to participate in this counselling should sign the attendance register before 10.00 AM so as to enable us to prepare the Merit list. Late comers on any account will not be included in the Merit list and allowed to participate in the counselling.
