China�s Tianhe-2 � the fastest computer in the world

Tianhe-2 from China the world�s fastest functioning computer retains this position for the fourth consecutive year. The list of top 100 fastest functioning computers is released now and China�s Tianhe-2 retains on No-1 position.
This computer has a functioning speed of 33.86 petaflop which means the device is capable of making several lakh crores of calculations within one second. Sources also say that experts are working out to multiply the functioning speed of this computer by three times further.
Amidst these, America states that their country will manufacture a computer that is faster than this China device. The cost of this American computer will be Rs 2000 crore. This may take over four years to come into existence.
Kudos to the excellence shown in the China device, and all the best for America to compete with this super-fast computer system.
