Increasing cybercrime criminal cases, an alarming report from Google

Cybercrime criminals seem to have turned picky. Rather than choosing to launch widespread automated attacks, they are, in the recent days, eyeing on individual accounts to make a lump sum gain, say officials from Google. According to a recent study made by Google, professional attackers are spending time to pick individual’s account and exploit it. Though this is not done in large numbers for now – the case happens at the range 9 in every one million users every day – this has created a huge impact and is severely damaging.
The result added that the results are too significant and the users incur severe financial loss due to such manual hijackers. This has distressed all internet users across the globe. These hijackers penetrate into user accounts by making phishing attacks by sending across deceptive messages aiming to play a trick with the users. They play the fool and grab user’s password, and other personal information.
On analyzing the origination of most of these hijackers, it is found that they mainly hail from countries like Malaysia, Nigeria, South Africa, Ivory Coast, and China.
