Far away locations of CAT exam centres dander up aspirants

Ardent aspirants wanting to crash the Common Admission Test (CAT) to grab a place in prestigious business schools in the country like IIMs got their exams scheduled on November 16 and 22. According to these candidates, the centres located for the exam is located far away from the Chennai city limit which they find it too difficult.
The centres for CAT exam this year are:
� Aalim Muhammed Salegh College of Engineering, Muthapudupet, Avadi
� Dhanalakshmi Engineering College, Manimangalam
� G.K.M. College of Engineering and Technology, Perungalathur
� K.C.G. College of Technology, Karapakkam
� Saveetha Engineering College, Thandalam4
According to the views of one of the CAT aspirants, he chose to take up the exam at Aalim Muhammed Salegh College in the morning batch on November 22. He says he ought to travel through a distance of 50 km consuming at least 2 solid hours in order to reach the test centre.
Sharing his dander on the issue, he says fixing such far away locations is unfair. There are plenteous arts and science colleges within city limits which the exam organizers could have chosen, he added.
