Ministers are all tied up following meeting with former TN CM

Ministers who went to meet the former TN Chief Minister J.Jayalalitha seem to have got tied up with works following the meet. Those who went on to her place on Wednesday were found at the secretariat earlier than usual - few of them glimpsing through their departments while few others were heading to their native districts for carrying out the flood relief works.
S.P. Velumani, local administration minister who was busy taking care of flood relief works at Coimbatore said the AIADMK supremo wanted them all to fasten the flood relief work and make sure that all the public are provided with all their requirements. Following her instructions, all the monsoon repair works are speeded up, he added.
Handloom minister Gokula Indira fixed a targeted date to complete distribution of Pongal Saris and Dhotis as 31st December. She gave necessary instruction to fasten these Pongal gift schemes and complete it well in advance. She further to this, instructed all ministers to speed up the flood relief works in Anna Nagar constituency.
A review meet was conducted by the animal husbandry minister T.K.M. Chinnah and wanted to fasten distribution of free milch cows and goats.
