Amma Multiplex Theatres ďż˝ highlights!

Amma Multiplex theatres with a seating capacity of 250 persons in each theatre are being constructed in 5 locations in Chennai.
Corporation officials informed:
In the 1st phase, 5 locations - the old regional office-3 at Puliyanthope owned by Chennai Corporation, the godown space owned by Chennai Corporation in Mint area, the unit office owned by Chennai Corporation in Kodambakkam area, the vacant land owned by Chennai Corporation in Kotturpuram - have been selected as sites for construction of Amma multiplex theatres.
Low-priced tickets
It has been planned to commence construction activities in 1 or 2 months and complete the same by June, 2015.
Efforts are being undertaken to build at least 50 to 100 theatres before the end of next year.
Each theatre will have a seating capacity of 250.
New movies will also be released in Amma theatres, however, with lower rates for the tickets.
The details of the ticket fares will be announced shortly by the state government.
