- Get the free application form for requesting power connection, fill and submit.
- Ensure all basic information asked are given properly. Legal Proof of ownership of the place must be given.
- Even if you are not the owner, you can apply for power connection. However, certain conditions apply. Get the application form �5� and get the approval from the owner for this application. If the owner is not ready, give proof that you are the authority for that residence.
- Obtain from the concerned officer while taking up new construction or renovation activities. You must follow the orders & guidelines as per the civil court.
- Submit the application in person or by post & get the acknowledgement.
- Register your application by paying the registration fee.
- A notice will be received deciding the ideal location for the energy meter.
- All energy meters for multi-flat buildings will be fitted on ground floor only.
- A letter will be received regarding the payment to be made for the new connection.
- On receipt of these payments, connection activities will commence.
- Permission should be given for erection of poles, if required. You can arrange for the procurement some items like wire, etc on your own.
- Proper inspection of the internal wiring has to be done with the right authorities. Once the wiring for the connection is complete, inform the authorities for their checking..
- A notice will be received to get the connection within the time mentioned.
