UPSC Main Exams scheduled on 14th December

UPSC Main examinations, conducted on All India Basis, are scheduled on 14th December.
UPSC exams are conducted every year.
These exams cover the 24 categories of posts including IAS, IPS, IFS, and IRS.
These exams are conducted in 3 stages � Preliminary exams, Main Exams, Interview (personality test).
Candidates who successfully complete all 3 levels will be given appointment after the interview stage.
This year, UPSC has announced the Main exams for 300 posts vacant in the above cadres.
9 Lakh candidates have applied all over the country.
The preliminary exams were conducted on 24th August. In Tamil Nadu. Test centres were arranged at Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore, etc. 40000 candidates wrote the exam in Tamil Nadu.
The results of the preliminary exam were announced on 14th October Over 17000 candidates have passed all over India.
The second stage, the Main Exams will now be conducted for these candidates on 14th December.
