Teachers’ Selection Board Decision – No teachers’ tests this year!

The teachers’ selection has been encountering continuous problems whenever it schedules the teachers’ selection examination by way of court cases. Because of this, the board has decided not to conduct exams this year.
Weightage system was introduced in the last examinations conducted in 2013. Many people who opposed this took this issue to court. The court ordered that the current weightage system should be removed and a new weightage system with a different approach which would not affect anyone should be introduced.
Consequently, 100 marks were fixed for the appointment. Again, many people took objection and too this to court.
With these problems, the results for the examinations conducted during June this year have not yet been announced.
The board took the decision not to conduct any examinations till all the current court cases are heard. Hence, reliable sources inform that no examinations will be conducted this year.
