RuPay – an e-commerce giant holding 15000 online merchants

RuPay e-commerce now has with it top online merchants including IRCTC, life insurance corporation, snapdeal and flipkart to back their online payment procedures.
The RuPay has grown to such an extent that it currently has about 15000 online merchants holding a customer base of 30 million Rupay Cards which can be used at any ATMs, says the company in a recent statement.
With this, it is possible for RuPay card holders book train tickets through irctc.co.in, make their LIC payments, have wonderful shopping experience in flipkart, snapdeal, homeshop18 and more. In addition to these, the largest bank in our country State Bank of India accepts RuPay cards in its payment gateway. The e-commerce giant, RuPay was launched in June 2013 with enhanced anti-phishing features and security checks.
Speaking to Sachin Bansal, the co-founder and CEO of flipkart, he says the payment part is very vital with top e-commerce sites. It is important to have good payment experience. RuPay has taken the necessary ways to bring forth a good improvement in online payments, he added.
