Sugar prices come down in Tamil Nadu

With the arrival of the festive season, the price of sugar has reduced a little.
At the same time, the price of jaggery has gone up.
Last week, a bag of sugar containing 100 kg sold at Rs. 3250/-. Presently, it is sold at Rs. 3150/-. Sugar per kg cost Rs. 34/- last week. Now, it is sold at Rs. 32/- per kg.
Jaggery from Darapuram, which was sold at Rs. 40/- per kg last week, is now sold at Rs. 45/- per kg. Jaggery from Vellore, which sold at Rs. 45/- per kg last week, is now sold at Rs. 50/- per kg.
