Special buses for this Diwali

As per instructions from our former Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha, special buses were made available for the public to travel to their homelands for the eve of Diwali. People showed immense response and welcomed the movie hugely for the past three years.
Following this, for this year, a meeting was held at the Secretariat and discussions were on about the bus services for this year. The meet saw participation from all top officials. Similar bus facilities like last year are set to be provided for the public this year too.
Over 501 special buses will be available for buses to all major district capitals and other key places on 17.10.2014 and 18.10.2014. Similarly, 699, 1400, 1652 and 4753 buses will be available on 19th, 20th, 21st, and 21st October 2014 respectively, said the newly appointed Chief Minister O.Panneerselvam.
