Four police officials have been chosen for this year�s Gandhi Adigal police medal for their work in curbing illicit liquor. They are K. Balakrishnan, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Prohibition Enforcement Wing, Tiruchi City; K. Shanmugam, Additional Superintendent of Police, Prohibition Enforcement Wing, Kancheepuram District; P. Padmavathi, Inspector of Police, Central Investigation Unit, Tiruchi Zone, and M. Babu, Sub-Inspector of Police, Prohibition Enforcement Wing, Villupuram District.
