It’s Lakshmi Menon for Dhanush in ‘Soodhadi’

The duo Dhanush-Vetrimaran is all set to kick-start their third project. As we reported earlier, the movie will have actor-director R. Parthiban playing a key role. He was earlier called for a character in ‘Aadukalam’ which he missed out because of date issues, but this time it is for sure that Parthiban will fit in himself for the movie which is titled ‘Soodhadi’ for now.
Parthiban is said to have a pair in this film. This role will be performed by Meenakshi of ‘Karupasamy Kuthagaitharar’ fame. The actress went on playing as lead heroine in few commercially unsuccessful movies; she is now making a comeback as Parthiban’s love interest in ‘Soodhadi’.
Dhanush’s pair is also hugely looked upon. Talks were on that Manish Yadhav who acted as female lead in ‘Vazhakku en 18/9’ and ‘Aadhalal Kadhal Seiver’ will get roped in. This however went false as some other heroine replaced the role. The director seems to have denied her for the role and had an eye on Shruthi Hassan. And now, Lakshmi Menon is said to take position as heroine for Soodhadi, as she is thought to perfectly suit the character.
