Changes in pattern of some suburban train services in Chennai � Arakkonam section were announced through a press release dated 08.08.2014 for 28 days from 11.08.2014 to facilitate engineering works at Arakkonam railway station. The changes have been extended further for a period of 15 days from 09.09.2014. The changes are as given below.
A. The following trains will be partially cancelled between Thiruvalangadu � Arakkonam.
Train No.43803 Chennai Beach - Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 04.30 hrs.
Train No.43405 MMC � Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 06.40 hrs.
Train No.43425 MMC � Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 18.05 hrs.
Train No.43427 MMC � Arakkonam EMU local scheduled to leave MMC at 18.40 hrs.
B.Partial cancellation of Ladies Special EMU between Tiruvallur � Arakkonam.
Train No.43807 Chennai Beach � Arakkonam Ladies Special EMU local scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 18.05 hrs. will be partially cancelled between Tiruvallur � Arakkonam.
C.Extension of EMU to Chitteri.
Train No.66011 MMC � Arakkonam MEMU fast local scheduled to leave MMC at 17.45 hrs. will be extended to run upto Chitteri.
