NSSO news: daily wages in villages fixed at Rs. 189/-

National Sample Survey Organisation (NSSO), working under the National Statistics Bureau, has releases details on the topic of �Job opportunities & conditions of non-descript labour in villages�.
The daily wages for women workers stands at Rs. 121/-. For men, the daily wages stand at Rs. 189/-, which is 56% more than the women.
This survey was conducted between July 2011 & June 2012.
