Oviya to act for free

Actress Oviya who is well known for her performance in ‘Kalavani’ and couple of other films has left her fans shocked with her recent statement in which she said that she would act in movies free of cost if she is appealed by the script. She adds that she would act in any number of roles, if it is made absolutely interesting and that she is not too money-minded. The actress decided not to charge even a single rupee for scripts that appeals her. She however pointed that her makeup assistant has to be paid.
The actress is currently engaged with two Tamil projects: ‘Sandamarutham’ starring Sarathkumar and another one under Bharathiraja’s production. She also did not forget to point that she would charge for scripts in which she is required to appear in few scenes.
Such a bold and generous statement from an upcoming heroine is definitely a good hope for aspiring filmmakers.
