Cost of LPG cylinders non subsidy fixed at Rs. 939, & commercial cylinders at Rs. 1699/-!

The cost of the commercial LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs. 35/- and fixed at Rs. 1699/-. Commercial LPG cylinders carry no subsidy from the government. The price of the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder is decided by the consortium of oil corporations.
The cost of the commercial 19 kg LPG cylinder was Rs. 1498/- last June. Subsequently, there has been a gradual rise in price and the price; last January was Rs. 2242.
The price started reducing during February, March & April and came down to Rs. 1702.50. Again, the price rose in July to Rs. 1734/- & in August, Rs. 1733/-.
During the current month of September, the price has come down to Rs. 1699/-. In a similar trend, the price of the 14.2 LPG cylinder without subsidy has reduced by Rs. 20/-. In June, it sold at Rs. 939.50. In July, it was Rs. 959.50. In August, it was Rs. 959/-. Now, in September, the price is reduced by Rs. 20/- to be Rs. 939/-.
The consortium of oil corporations have announced that the commercial 19 kg LPG & the 14.2 kg LPG cylinders without subsidy will be sold at these prices throughout the country.
