TEMPLES ON THE ROADS BEING REMOVED
Chennai Municipal Corporation armed with Supreme court order have
started to remove the temples on the road that obstruct traffic. Chennai
Traffic police have identified and handed over list 36 temples in the city to
the Municipal Corporation for their removal.
Its good to remove the temples on the roadsides, Municipal corporation
should in fact allot lands for temples in the area like they allot lands for
parks. In doing so the authorities should take into consideration the
sentiments of people, after all it is all for the good interest of the public
at large and they must also ensure to be unbiased . They must also remove
temples of other worshippers as well.
It should be for the interest of the public not for the sack of removing
temples.
