Madras Heritage Marathon

The Madras Heritage Marathon is being organised to spread awareness on the importance of preserving the city�s heritage structures. The run is scheduled for September 14 and has three categories � 3, 5, and 10 kms for all age groups. It will start from Queen Mary�s college, Marina Beach. Registered runners will get a goodie bag and on successful completion, a certificate, a medal and breakfast. Running clubs in the city are supporting this fundraiser event for Prastara Trust.
A promo run will be held on August 24, along with a fitness workshop by physiotherapists. A photography contest will showcase heritage structures.
