Passport public grievance meeting

The regional passport office in Chennai will conduct a public grievance meeting from 9.30am to 1pm on August 23 at passport seva kendras in Saligramam, Tambaram and Aminjikarai.
On July 26, of 1,589 appointments booked, 1339 passport applications were submitted and issued. More than 13,000 passports have been dispatched. An official said applicants can submit the required documents and complete the formalities for granting of passports.
�The applications which were put `on hold at PSKs` during the period from January to June this year would be accepted. Fresh requests will not be entertained on that day ,� said a release.
