Liquor outlets to remain closed on Friday

All outlets, bars and clubs selling alcohol will be closed on Friday on account of Independence Day. Chennai collector E Sundaravalli made the announcement according to Rule 12 of the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending Rules, 2003.
