Special camps by Chennai Metro water to provide new water and sewer connections

Chennai Metro water is holding special camps in various areas to be held this month between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
For receiving new connections, Ambattur residents can participate in a camp at No. 1, T.S. Krishna Nagar, Ambattur on July 19. The camp for Maduravoyal will be held at 124, Arcot Road, Valasaravakkam, on July 26.
A press release said Metro water has laid new water pipelines in Alandur. Residents may pay pending sewer and water charges to CMWSSB and then connect their sump or hand pumps with the house service connections laid up to a storm water drain or the compound wall of their premises.
Special camps will also be conducted at the depot offices in Alandur for effecting transfer of water connections from July 14 to July 31, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. On August 2, residents may visit No.1, New Street, Alandur for the same purpose.
