Vegetable prices shoot up

Onion and potatoes prices have shot up in the city. Onions, which sold at Rs 20 last week, are selling at Rs 30 a kg. R Soundarajan, advisor to wholesalers association in Koyambedu, said prices have been increasing steadily. Potatoes which sold for Rs 18 last week are now selling at Rs 23 per kg.
