Movies piled up for censor certification

Kollywood is here with a new trouble not being able to get censor certification on-time! The Tamil cine industry has couple of movies piled up for censor certification. Owing to lack of staff members in the Regional Censor board, certification of films is getting delayed. The movies pending for certification includes Dhanysh�s �Velai Illa Pattadhari� and Karthi�s �Madras�.
On enquiring this to an official at the censor board, he says, according to orders issued by the government, no member is allowed to continue in the board for more than two years. This seems to be the underlying reason for delay in providing certification.
Government appoints staff members for the sensor committee from several fields. It is mandatory for the committee to consist two women and two men. Currently, out of seven members, only two ladies are present due to which censor certification is given to only one movie per day.
