�Facebook� goes �off� for half-an-hour!

The hugely popular social networking site, Facebook, went off today (19th June, Thursday) for half-an-hour in India and some other countries.
It is gathered the the server had failed.
However, the information, �Sorry for the inconvenience: some faults have occurred. We are trying to rectify the same in a short time� was displayed by Facebook.
Immediately after the failure of Facebook, a number of �netizens� registered their notes in the Twitter.
The has-tag, �#facebookdown� was seen on the Indian & global network arenas.
After a gap of half-an-hour, Facebook was back on service.
