‘Amma’ Tea will soon bang the Market!

The Tamil Nadu Government is all set ready to launch ‘Amma Tea’, which is getting added up in the list of ‘Amma Water’ and ‘Amma Salt’.

Amma Tea, will be an artifact of the state-possessed Tamil Nadu Tea Plantation Corporation. 

In course of the standard brand value and the realistic MRP, the market share of TANTEA might be getting elevated to 20% in about 2 to 3years, which is only 2% now, said the sources.

The TamilNadu government is captivating an initiative to endorse TANTEA products, so as to boost up the market share and to encourage the practice of tea consumption, a senior corporation official says. 

The corporation officials said that they have acquired 28 vending machines newly to yield distinct and unique type of tea, including the higher grade ‘Organic’ and ‘Green’ tea. We are in the process of getting ISI certification for our products, corporation officials added.

TANTEA is one among the huge black tea producers across the country, with the excess of 10,000 acres of tea plantation units in Nilgiris and Coimbatore districts. Each of the plantation units has been lead by 30 extremely qualified experts assisted by 435 sustaining staffs and about 10,000 workers as well as 4,500 short-term workers.

The two tea plantation factories of corporation are situated at Valparai, Coimbatore district.  About 90% of the product is auctioned and the rest 10% is put for sale in retail market.
