Revisions in natural gas price expected soon

According to sources from oil ministry, a hike in natural gas price may be expected from 1st July upon approval by the cabinet. This was earlier expected on April 1, however it got delayed owing to the announcements about general elections. Sources say revision of gas price is to be considered importantly and decision should soon be taken.
A final announcement on the revision may be expected soon after getting clarity on implementation of Rangarajan formula.
