Chennai Corporation Commences Work on its School Buildings

Chennai Corporation schools yet to have more and more amenities as division of a renovation planned to improve them on parity with private schools across the city.
The civic body will govern more initiatives on altering the school buildings like allocation of authorities to principals to indulge on crackdown of the school buildings, water flow, electrical fittings and maintaining clean toilets.
This innovation work also wraps, more painting on the walls, inexpensive enhancements in fabrication of furniture, many park areas, affordable reshaping of the surroundings and minimal alteration of the front elevation, so as to magnetize the interest of students and parents.
During this month, to carry out the renovation work like toilet maintenance, water flow and electrical fittings in about 284 schools about Rs.2 Crores has been spent.
Renovation work in most of the schools has already started and from now on the Corporation schools will seem like the top of the private schools across the city, said an official.
The renovation will express to parents the real enhancement in the education of students available in these Corporation schools. Students have set in motion to shine in both the education and sports, said the official.
Corporation school officials proudly say that in the upcoming years, a large count of IIT graduates, doctors and IAS executives will be from Chennai Corporation Schools.
